Halloween Hunt 10/28 - 11/1

Welcome to the Turtle Bay, Bunny Bay Market Halloween Hunt!

Dates: Oct. 28th (midnight LST) through Nov. 1st (3 PM LST)

You will be hunting for M&M shaped candies, in assorted colors, throughout the market.

Look for the shops and stalls displaying the hunt sign, for candies.

Candies can be ONE OF A KIND ITEMS (eggs). Once it is taken, it is gone.
The shop owner MAY or MAY NOT replace it with another at some point during the hunt.
If you are not interested in an egg... PLEASE do not buy it, leave it for someone else.

Candies that contain items other than eggs give one gift per person!

Some candies will contain LINDENS in varying amounts. These will disappear after being found. Up to 1000L a day will be placed throughout the market. Money candy replenished mid-afternoon each day.

Candies donated by Turtle Bay Market & Prim & Pixel Paradise are scattered throughout the market place, out side of stalls.

There are lots of interesting items up for grabs, eggs of course, pet supplies, jewelry, clothing & costumes (unisex, men & women's.. PSST... A dozen Prim & Pixel Paradise items too!!!!), halloween decorative items and more.

We even have witches brooms you can rez and ride (2 seater too!) to make your hunt even more fun!

Petable Turtle Update Today Sept. 22

01.01.11 Update

Version 01.01.11 is being pushed out tomorrow morning. The most visible change in this update will be that turtles will now lay eggs at a random time within term 4, rather than all at once at Turtle 30. This will distribute the load on our server across the entire 4 hours, rather than having it all spike at once as is currently happening. For the remainder of what has been term 4 up until this point will be an extended “Recovering” time for the turtle, and will continue through the entire next turtle day as it has in the past. This update also includes something that is small but often-requested. The API will now be in all egg boxes and turtle boxes of version 01.01.11 and higher. Finally, there are two small bugfixes. First, boxes will remove any numbers appended to their name, and hunger cannot go negative. The latter was happening with some extreme lag circumstances.

Start your gloomy Monday off with some brightness! Male/Female pens for turtles will be available as well as tables to display eggs. Only GLOWS allowed. Fee to show at this promoted event will be 20L for 2 LIVE turtles & 2 turtle egg stands. OR 4 Live boxed chickens or chicken egg stands. Our vendors may display free 2 lives and 10 eggs. Set up is at 9 AM LST. WE DO NOT ALLOW UNBOXED LIVE CHICKENS. We cannot assume responsibility for them. Sorry.

Turtle Bay Market SPEEDY Saturdays

Turtle Bay Market presents Speedy Saturdays

Coming Saturdays, beginning Sept. 26th at 2 PM LST.

We will be hosting breedable pet races! (uhm non-human/furry pets, I know someone is going to ask.. lol)

There will be one heat of 5 contestants each held for each breedable pet category. First to enter get to run.

2:00 PM for Turtles
2:30 PM Bunnies (betas for now :))
3:00 PM Chickens
All times SL time. (Pacific Time)

Note live chickens are raced at your own risk. We cannot assume responsibility for them. Sorry.

PRIZES. The winer of each race will be entitled to ONE item of their choosing from Karra's and Mairead's stock n display at Turtle Bay or Prim & Pixel Paradise. You get bragging rights! You get a nifty little winners sign too to display at home. You (and your shop if you have one) get mentioned in our blog.
